After I graduated from college, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do in terms of living situations. I kind of wanted to live on my own and act like a real grown up, but I also loved when I lived with people in the dorms and then again in my sorority. All throughout my college years I lived with people. I decided that I was going to be a grown-up and go ahead and try living on my own. I was going to be independent and have my own place. It appealed to me that the stuff would be my stuff, I would never have to fight for the washer and dryer, and nobody would ever eat my food. Although my parents checked out security systems for me atadt prices, I just never felt safe while I lived alone. I also missed the friendship of having someone live with me. I just asked a friend here to move in with me, because I miss having roommates! I don’t even care if she never does dishes- I LOVE her being here!
