The landscapes surrounding the campsite and nearby villages are marked by the cultivation of olive trees, vineyards, and almond trees.
Terra Alta, with 13.75 inhabitants per km2, has one of the lowest population densities in all of Catalonia.

Terra Alta, located in the southwest of Catalonia, comprises a total of nine towns with a rich cultural heritage. If you decide to visit them, you’ll encounter charming small towns, modernist buildings, and many sites related to the Battle of the Ebro.

Just 4km from the campsite, a village completely rebuilt in 1967 as it was flooded by the construction of the Ribaroja dam. In Fayón you will find the Battle of the Ebro Museum and the living history paths among many other things.

Capital of Terra Alta, it combines tradition, historical-artistic heritage, and economic development in a rugged environment with the Pàndols and Cavalls mountain ranges. Also noteworthy are the modernist Cooperative Winery by César Martinell and the Study Center of the Battle of the Ebro, as well as the Archaeological Complex of Coll del Moro in its surroundings.
