We prepare all the licenses for you before your arrival so that
you don’t have to worry about anything!
What license do I need to fish in PORT MASSALUCA?
Both licenses are valid in the Riba-roja reservoir, both the one from Aragón and the one from Catalonia. But if you are interested in joining a club in Catalonia, you will need to have the Catalonia license. Similarly, if you want to go fishing one day at the sea of Aragón (Mequinenza reservoir), you will need the Aragón license.
How and where can I get the license?
This process has been facilitated over the years, nowadays both can be obtained online. The Catalonia one even for 1 day or 15 days. From the campsite, we can manage all the licenses.
Do I need anything else?
Yes, once you have obtained the license, you need a fishing preserve. The fishing preserve depends on which bank you will be fishing from; see fishing areas for more information.
If you fish from the shore, it’s easy; you can get the daily permit for the fishing ground that interests you. You can also become a member of the fishing club, enjoy discounts throughout the year, and fish all year long on the Catalonia side, from the campsite to Granja de Escarpe: 30km of reservoir. And on the day you want to fish on the Aragon side, you can purchase a daily ticket at our facilities.
From a boat, in shared water areas, and if you’re not too close to the coast, any ticket may be valid; it’s very difficult to determine which side you’re on. However, if you’re in an area where the entire width of the reservoir is in Aragon or Catalonia, you must have the corresponding ticket. You can check the fishing zones to see the community boundaries. On our part, if you’re not familiar with the area, we recommend getting both tickets to be more at ease.
Where can I get the ticket?
ARAGÓN
You can buy the Aragón daily ticket (€8) or weekly ticket (€40) at the campsite reception.
CATALONIA
The daily Catalonia ticket (4.5€), weekly (18€) or annual (18.50€) is obtained with the following procedure:
For the annual one it is necessary to be a member of a fishing club; federated members and residents in riverside municipalities get a discount when they get the ticket.
