Carp fishing in the Ebro

Huge carp up to 30kg!

The common carp (Cyprinus carpio), although not a 100% native species, has been in the Ebro River since before 1900 and currently the latest regulations consider it non-native in the Riba-roja and Mequinenza reservoirs. Today in these waters there are specimens of more than 20kg, some even reaching 30kg!

Carp is characterized by being a fighting fish with a lot of power, usually fished from the shore, the bites of the large specimens make the alarms sound while the line keeps running at high speed.
