Wine Tourism in Terra Alta
At Restaurante Port Massaluca, we have a wide range of wines representative of Terra Alta. We always like to have the maximum representation from the 12 municipalities of the region. And i In the camping store, you can purchase the wines you enjoyed most at the restaurant, to take home as a souvenir or as a gift.
If you’re looking for more information or organized tastings, we recommend visiting the official website of the Terra Alta Denomination of Origin. From the campsite, we can also coordinate visits, both to the wineries we regularly work with and to any other you request.
We highly recommend the two most emblematic wineries of Terra Alta: the cooperative of Gandesa and that of Pinell de Brai. They are called “Cathedrals of Wine” and both were designed by the architect Cèsar Martinell i Brunet, in a modernist style inspired by Gaudí’s work. Additionally, they are designed to optimize productivity and wine quality. Therefore, beyond the architecture, they constitute very important examples of industrial engineering in the rural world.
